Coimbatore, May 18

Oracle Technology Network (OTN), which is said to have the largest online community of developers, database administrators and architects using Oracle products and industry-standard technologies, claims that India, with over 4 lakh OTN members emerged the largest developer community for the company in the Asia Pacific region and second largest worldwide. "The rapid growth of OTN is a testament to the rising popularity of Oracle software across the globe as well as in India," Mr SPS Grover, Vice-President (Technology Sales), Oracle India, said.

To demonstrate its commitment, Oracle has announced the `Oracle Develop World Tour', a developer conference that is expected to bring international technology experts from eight cities spanning three continents for a two-day forum. The conference took off on Thursday at Bangalore. The other countries that would host Oracle Develop include Brazil, Korea, Beijing, China, Germany, Czech Republic and the UK.
