Medi Assist, HP tie-up

Our Bureau

Mumbai May 18 Medi Assist India Pvt Ltd has announced a partnership with Hewlett Packard to develop customized applications for running Third Party Administration services and to provide end-to-end healthcare solutions to customers.

The deal has been valued between Rs 1-2 million.

"As transaction volumes go up, cost will also go up," said Mr Kapil Jain, Vice-President, Services, at HP India Sales.

This partnership will help Medi Assist increase the capacity, speed and quality of the claims processing system and will also help add to the services the company offers to corporate customers.

Medi Assist will work with HP to enhance the solution as the patient records multiply and needs become more complex. "The IT transformation at Medi Assist will help us achieve a scalable, reliable transaction processing model that also ensures the security and confidentiality of patient records," said Mr Madhavan B, COO, Medi Assist, India.
