Seagate launches 3 `data movers'

Bangalore May 24 Seagate Technology launched its FreeAgent family of data movers here on Thursday.

Introducing the three products — FreeAgent Pro, FreeAgent Desktop and FreeAgent Go — Mr Rajesh Khurana, Country Manager for India and SAARC countries, said that the desktop and portable solutions combine sophisticated design with easy-to-use lifestyle tools.FreeAgent Pro data movers, more suitable for creative professionals and those who want to stay connected to their digital content, includes an interchangeable modular interface system that provides both a combination of USB 2.0 and eSATA interface, or dual FireWire 400 ports. FreeAgent Desktop has been designed for a broad array of computer users including corporates, small business professionals, and students. Designed for students, mobile consumers and business professionals, FreeAgent Go is a palm-sized device that can be plugged into any computer's USB 2.0 port. When finished, the information and personalised settings are stored on the data mover and not on the host computer.
