Channels and Franchises States - Tamil Nadu Royal Classic opens third store in Coimbatore Our Bureau
Coimbatore May 31 Royal Classic Group, producers of the Classic Polo branded men's apparel, has opened its third retail outlet here. The branded retail store to run on franchisee basis is set on 1,400 sq. ft area and the format store will showcase the entire Classic Polo range that includes T-shirts, shirts, trousers, cargos, denim and jackets, besides the group's `Smash' brand premium men's innerwears. According to Mr R. Shivaram, Executive Director, Royal Classic Group, his company would run its entire retail chain on franchisee route with the group meeting the establishment overheads and the franchisee would ensure the profitability of the business. This mode would encourage self-employment and also help the company expand. Royal Classic Group has already set up over 40 retail outlets and has plans to take this number beyond 100 by this year-end. The group's franchisee retail business model would have the mix of studio (500-1,000 sq. ft)/lounge (1,000-2,000 sq. ft) formats, in addition to its use of multi-brand outlets/shop-in-shops.
