SEBI sets up advisory panel on consent orders

Mumbai June 6 The Securities and Exchange Board of India has constituted a high-powered advisory committee on consent orders and compounding of offences.

Mr Justice Hosbet Suresh, former Judge, High Court of Bombay, will be the Chairman of the Committee.

Other members of the committee include Mr M Balachandran, ex-Chairman and Managing Director, Bank of India and Mr Ketal Dalal, Executive Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The committee will have its first meeting in the second week of this month.
