Our Bureau

Chennai June 8 City Square Enterprises Pvt Ltd, a property development company, has announced the launch of NRI's Centre City, a gated community project near Chennai.

To be formally launched on Sunday, NRI's Centre City is a 103-acre layout about 25 km west of Chennai at Mannur, 9 km from Sriperumbudur.

According to Mr N.M. Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director, City Square Enterprises, the township has developed layouts of 1,800-2,400 sq ft approved by the Department of Town and Country Planning. NRI's Centre City has space to accommodate over 1,500 homes apart from a club and resort, swimming pool and other recreation facilities.

Space at the facility will be sold at an introductory price of Rs 599 a sq ft. The company's construction division, White Stone, also offers building services — the price range starts from Rs 1,200 a sq ft.

Mr Reddy said more than half of City Square's clientele are NRIs.

City Square will soon launch another such gated community spread over 100 acres about 7 km south of Mahabalipuram, he said.
