Piyush Pandey is O&M Vice-Chairman

Mr Piyush Pandey has been elected as Vice-Chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific by the agency's regional board. Mr Pandey will continue as Executive Chairman and National Creative Director of Ogilvy & Mather India.

Mr Miles Young, Chairman of O&M Asia Pacific, said: "I can't think of anyone who better embodies the values established by David Ogilvy or who better symbolises the excitement of Indian... India is becoming quite fundamental to many of our clients' strategies in this part of the world, and when Piyush speaks for India he also speaks for Asia." In 2004, Mr Pandey became the first Asian to be president of the Cannes jury. In 2006, he was inducted into Ogilvy's Worldwide Board.
