Bangalore June 13

Wipro Infotech has tied up with Apple Computer International to sell the entire range of Apple products in India.

Wipro is creating a new specialised team to address the market for the Apple range of products, which includes the MacBook range of notebooks, Mac range of desktops including iMac, Mac mini and Mac Pro, Xserve servers and storage products and the entire range of iPod digital players. This new entity will address target customers in Enterprise and Small & Medium Businesses segments.

Newer Opportunities

The tie-up will provide Apple with complete access to Wipro's marketing infrastructure in the PC domain and will create newer opportunities for both the companies to address new and existing markets.

Wipro's service & support network is spread across India with offices in 24 locations and its partner network covers more than 200 locations. Additionally, this is supported by service network presence in 174 locations across the country.
