New Delhi June 13 Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) has tied up with the IGNOU for offering professional programmes through distance learning mode. The initiative is aimed at facilitating training for working professionals and also at extending the benefit of formal training programmes to far off places.

On offer are three programmes — Certificate in Shoe Upper Cutting, Certificate in Shoe Upper Stitching and Certificate in Shoe Lasting and Finishing. The applicant must be at least 8th pass to get admission in these programmes.
