Seasonal fruit: A girl waiting for customers in her pineapple shop on the Guwahati-Shillong National Highway in the Meghalaya outskirts of Guwahati city on Thursday. Fruits season has started in Meghalaya and will last till the end of August. Meghalaya exports fruit products to the neighbouring countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and also processed fruits to Mongolia.
