Sri Lankan selects FinnOne

Coimbatore, June 28

NDB Bank of Sri Lanka has selected Nucleus’ flagship product — FinnOne Retail Suite on Oracle Database and Oracle Fusion Middleware — for implementation across its 32 branches in that country. For Nucleus, this is said to be a strategic win in the SAARC region.

The company has so far completed more than 250 product implementations globally and has orders for another 150 implementations by 2008. Nucleus’ Global Sales and Marketing Head Mr Niraj Vedwa said the company had earned the confidence of banking institutions in the SAARC region. “Banks in these markets are revamping their technology infrastructure rapidly and we are positioned to help them refurbish their operations to be on par with global conglomerates. The NDB Bank’s project has enabled us establish our footprint in the Sri Lankan market.” — Our Bureau
