Gramin bank unions’ strike call

Coimbatore, June 27 The Joint Forum of Gramin Bank Unions has given a call for a two-day strike in all regional rural banks (RRBs) on June 29 and 30 to press their demand, which among others include pension settlement, parity with sponsor banks in payment of other allowances and benefits, compassionate appointment and uniform manpower planning, recruitment and promotion policy. —
