Commodity Markets Groundnut oil recovers on demand
Press Trust of India Mumbai, July 10 Groundnut oil recovered moderately in a mixed oil and oilseeds market on Tuesday on renewed demand from retailers. Groundnut oil recovered by Rs 5 to Rs 755, while refined palmolein eased by Rs 2 to Rs 456. Castorseed bold moved down by Rs 10 to Rs 2,025 and castor oil commercial eased to Rs 435 from Rs 437. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 515. In the futures section, castorseed August contract closed at Rs 2,008 against Rs 2,021. Sugar prices decline
Mumbai: Sugar prices declined on the Vashi wholesale market on Tuesday due to poor offtake. Medium sugar quality (M-30) fell by Rs 15-16 per quintal to Rs 1,386-1,510. Small sugar quality (S-30) also moved down by Rs 6 per quintal to Rs 1,340-1,391. Wheat recovers
New Delhi: Wheat prices recovered on the wholesale grains market on Tuesday on increased offtake. Wheat dara (for mills) traded Rs 20 higher at Rs 1,000-1,005 per quintal, while wheat MP (deshi) gained Rs 15 at Rs 1,210-1,460 per quint al.
