IT Training Teaching design programme from Tenable
Our Bureau Hyderabad, July 17 Tenable Learning Solutions, in association with Philadelphia University, launched a certificate programme in instructional design in e-learning. “The programme has been designed to equip the students with instructional methodologies that emphasise a shift towards individualised and learner-centred instruction,” Mr C.V. Chandrashekhar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, told newspersons here. The 12-week pilot programme would begin on September 17 with 25 students from across India. “After successful completion of the first batch, we intend to conduct three batches a year with complete placement assistance,” he said. The fee for the programme would be $3,000. Dr Timothy C McGee from Philadelphia University said the programme would be handled by a team of experts from the university. “This is the first-ever tie-up of Philadelphia University globally for the programme,” he added. Instructional design deals with research and theory about instructional strategies and the process for developing and implementing them.
