Outlook Industry & Economy - Real Estate & Construction States - Karnataka Skyline to invest Rs 200 cr in Mangalore
Our Bureau Mangalore, July 20 The Bangalore-based Skyline Constructions and Housing Pvt Ltd is planning to invest around Rs 200 crore in Mangalore over the next 18 months. Announcing the launch of its maiden project Skyline Blueberry Hills here on Friday, Mr Avinash Prabhu, Managing Director of Skyline , said the company would invest around Rs 200 crore in residential, commercial, hospitality and retail segments . Skyline is scouting for land to set up an integrated township in MangaloreMr Prabhu said that Skyline entered Mangalore because of its immense potential. Mangalore is evolving as a major destination for IT and BPO sectors, and major international players, top investors and multinational companies are considering the city for their varied businesses. The region also has a number of educational institutions that provide skilled professionals. Infrastructure development in various areas, including airport, is fuelling demand for property , he said. Mr Diraj Prabhu, Director of Skyline , said Blueberry Hills project will have two blocks housing 40 and 32 apartments (3BHK and 2BHK). The project will cost around Rs 30 crore. Skyline Blueberry Hills is located on a hill slope offering a spectacular view of the valley below, he said.
