TRF to buy 52% in Singapore co

Mumbai, July 25 TRF Ltd, a Tata Group enterprise, said it has entered into a conditional share purchase agreement to buy 51 per cent stake in a Singapore-based company York Transport Equipment (Asia) Pte for S$16.5 million in cash (Rs 44 crore). York Transport is a privately owned wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore-based Baker Technology with whom TRF has signed the agreement. York Transport and its subsidiaries design, manufacture, marketing and distribution of trailer axles and related components under the brand names York and Rednet, as well as trailers, said a statement from TRF to the BSE.
