Mangalore, July 29

ICFAI National College (INC), Mangalore, is introducing postgraduate diploma in banking, finance and insurance (BFI), according to the Principal of the college, Professor K. Narayan. Addressing presspersons here on Saturday, he said that this nine-month fulltime campus-based programme is aimed at providing skilled executive manpower to these fast-growing sectors. The first two semesters will be classroom-based ones and the last semester will be dedicated to internship in b anking, financial and insurance companies. Added to this, the syllabus will enable the students to pass AMFI, NCFM and IRDA tests, he said. The course would begin from September 3, he added. —
