Bangalore, Aug. 8 The Sahara India Group today announced the launch of Sahara Care House, its single-window service in Karnataka for NRIs to extend their affinity and care to their dependents back-home. The service was launched in the North three months ago.

Sahara Care House, with its plan to have offices in key cities of the State, will play a virtual filial role for the dependents of NRIs in providing services ranging from healthcare, investment advisory to day-to-day concierge service of shopping and home delivery of merchandise for them. The company has also tied up with major hospitals and vendors to provide its comprehensive services, said Mr Romi Datta, Chief Executive Officer, Sahara India Pariwar-International Business.

He said conceptualisation of Sahara Care House as a provider of world class services had been the result of a combination of efforts and investment in the highest quality, driven by the desire to maximise the convenience of the customers.

Sahara Care House has a network of more than 249 branches covering 197 cities through 3500 relationship ambassadors who are specially trained in customer services and are on call 24x7, Mr Datta said.

Mr Dutta said the company has already enrolled 125 members on an annual subscription basis for providing the services to the dependents of the members. It also collects $1,000 as an initial pre-payment to extend all its services and sale of its products with an option of a top-up facility to meet the additional expenditure.

Sahara Care House has projected a revenue stream of $200 million over a three year period coming from its products and the services, which broadly range from healthcare to utility services for payment of bills or delivery of essential goods to property and asset management.
