Alliances & Joint Ventures Industry & Economy - Cinema Eros, White Feather tie up
Mumbai, Aug. 30 Eros International has announced a collaboration involving co-production, marketing and distribution of feature films with White Feather Films Ltd (WFF), a film production company owned by Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta. The deal includes approximately 15 films to be jointly produced by Eros and WFF amounting to over Rs 250 crore. These include the distribution of the forthcoming Dus Kahaniyan followed by Pankh by Sudipto Chattopadhyay and The Great Indian Butterfly, a Sarthak Das Gupta film. Eros will also co-produce Sanjay Gupta’s Alibaug. Announcing the tie-up, the Managing Director of White Feather Films Ltd, Mr Sanjay Gupta said, “ Our collaboration with Eros International is aimed at creating a synergy of creative talent and market leadership. The past year has seen a major leap in our film production activities and we have successfully produced and released Shootout at Lokhandwala. — Our Bureau
