KDS container throughput up 27% in April-Aug

KOLKATA: Kolkata Dock System (KDS), one of the two dock systems of Kolkata port, has posted an impressive growth in container throughput, according to a release issued by the port. Between April and August this year, the throughput at 1,23,234 TEUs (as compared to 96,983 TEUs in the same period of last year) recorded more than 27 per cent growth.
