Thai Deputy PM visits Tata Steel

Mumbai, Sept 4 The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry of Thailand, Mr Kosit Panpiemras, visited Tata Steel on Monday.

He was accompanied by Mr Satit Chanjavanakul, Secretary-General, Board of Investment (BOI), Mr Vittaya Praisuwan, Executive Investment Advisor, BOI, Mr Salil Wisalswadi, Director – Metals, Metal Products, Machinery and Transport Equipment Division, Mr Boonrux Saphyakhajon, Investment Promotion Officer, BOI, Mr Weeraphon Iamjaroenchai, Investment Promotion Officer, BOI, and Mr Kamet Buranasin, Vice-President, Bangkok Bank.

Mr B. Muthuraman, Managing Director, Tata Steel, welcomed the delegation.

The visitors were taken through the gallery which showcases the 100-year long journey of Tata Steel.

Mr Kosit Panpiemras is also scheduled to visit Tata Motors.

Tata Steel has two establishments in Thailand. Tata Steel Thailand was formed when Tata Steel acquired Millennium Steel, Thailand.
