Kolkata, Sept. 12 Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has formed a sub-committee headed by historian Mr Barun De to prepare a modified list of heritage structures in the city.

According to KMC sources, the municipality is currently inspecting the heritage structures and expects to publish the fresh list after Durga Puja in October.

“We have formed a sub-committee to look into this (heritage list) matter. It is headed by Mr Barun De. So far, around 500 structures have been included in the modified list,” a senior KMC official said.
