HP, AOL in branding pact

Bangalore, Sept. 17

Hewlett-Packard has entered into a branding relationship with AOL, which could manifest in co-branded, localised versions of AOL’s portal, toolbar and search on HP desktops and notebook PCs. The portal will be set as the default homepage and the toolbar and search will be default settings in various countries worldwide. Financial terms were not disclosed. – Our Bureau
