HSIL plans expansion in AP

Hyderabad, Sept. 17 Hindustan Sanitaryware & Industries Ltd (HSIL) will invest up to Rs 210 crore in a ‘greenfield’ expansion project to manufacture glass bottles and jars at a new location in Andhra Pradesh.

The company today informed the BSE that its board meeting on September 15 had approved the proposal for expansion of its container glass division. The company plans to set up the new unit in central AP with a capacity of 425 tonnes per day (tpd).
