B-school to host management fest

Mangalore, Sept. 18

Srinivas Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Mangalore, will conduct ‘Magma 2007’, a management festival for postgraduate students here on September 22. Addressing presspersons here on Tuesday, Dr P.S. Aithal, Principal of SIMS, said that this year the theme of the event is ‘India as a green economy’. He said that green economics is based on three axioms – it is impossible to expand forever into a finite space; it is impossible to take for ever from a finite resource; and everything is interconnected. More than 15 teams from various parts of the country are likely to participate in the event this year. –
