Ma Foi Academy opens centre in Madurai

Madurai, Sept. 18 Ma Foi Academy, the training division of the Rs 330-crore Ma Foi Management Consultants Ltd (MFMCL) opened its career training centre, the sixth in the State, here on Tuesday.

With most industries looking to expand their operations into tier II and II cities, a critical situation has emerged for the workforce to be trained in the region to suit the industry needs and the Ma Foi Academy would serve as a one-stop shop in catering to the comprehensive career training needs of the population, said Mr K. Pandia Rajan, Managing Director and CEO, said at a press conference here.The courses offered are English craft, career craft, word craft, retail craft, sales craft and industrial design craft.

The centre would cover six districts — Madurai, Dindigul, Theni, Sivagangai, Virudhunagar and Ramanathapuram. The academy is set to launch courses for the publishing, aviation and other emerging sectors soon, he added.
