Cultivation States - Kerala Experts see vast scope for organic farming Our Bureau Kochi, Sept. 23 Speakers at an international seminar on organic products stressed the need for more efforts from the Centre and State governments for the promotion of organic culture in the country. Organic farming is an excellent tool for enhancing the livelihoods of small and marginal farmers, who are resource poor and pursue agriculture in marginal lands not adequately rain-fed, Mr Gerald A. Hermann, Director of Organic Services, said at the 2-day seminar organised by Organic Services and Solutions India Pvt Ltd, a joint venture with Organic Services GmbH, Germany.
