Kingfisher starts flights from Mangalore to Goa, Kozhikode

Mangalore, Sept. 25 With the introduction of a flight service on Kozhikode-Mangalore-Goa route on Monday, Mangalore airport is now connected with two more domestic locations.

Kingfisher Airlines began a service on this route on Monday. Till now, Mangalore airport was connected to Mumbai and Bangalore airports.

Sources in the airport told Business Line here on Monday that Kingfisher Airlines will operate daily flights on Kozhikode-Mangalore-Goa route. The flight will leave Kozhikode at 10.45 a.m. and arrive in Mangalore at 11.45 a.m. It will depart from Mangalore at 12.15 p.m. and reach Goa at 1.15 p.m. In the return journey, the flight will leave Goa at 1.45 p.m. and reach Mangalore at 3.00 p.m. It will depart from Mangalore at 3.15 p.m. and reach Kozhikode at 4.15 p.m.

With the addition of this route, the aircraft movement at Mangalore has been increased to 22 aircraft movements a day against 18 movements earlier.
