Bangalore, Sept. 27

Chipmaker Texas Instruments has announced that its Wave 2 software and development tools platform, which eliminates over 15 years of development for wireless base station and broadband mobile equipment manufacturers, is now available. The development tools include an evaluation module based on its TMS320TCI6487 digital signal processor. Together, OEMs can get their systems up and running quickly to capture the growing WiMAX market, said a release. —
