RelComm ties up with ING Vysya

Mumbai, Sept. 27

The Anil Ambani-controlled Reliance Communications has tied up with Bangalore-based ING Vysya Bank to generate leads of customers willing to open a bank account through a campaign on the R World platform. Interested consumers can indicate their consent on the micro site, which is then captured as a lead and passed on to the bank for them to be contacted. The prospective customers have to walk into ING Vysya Bank branches anywhere in India and open a new savings bank or current account. Compared to Internet subscribers, which is over 40 million customers, India has the largest mobile customer base with over 200 million. This helps marketing organisations reach out to a larger base of their target audience at one go and in the most cost-effective manner. The campaign is open till September 28. - Our Bureau
