Venkateswara Hatcheries enters diagnostics space

Hyderabad, Sept. 29 Venkateswara Hatcheries Private Ltd will soon launch the biosensor-based diagnostic kit for testing HIV in just three minutes, marking its foray into the diagnostics segment.

The company received licence to market the biscuit-sized Multiplo kit developed by the Canada-based MedMira Inc, in the Indian market.

“The simple diagnostic kit doesn’t require an expert to carry out the test. It can be performed by anybody and get the results in just three minutes,” the company’s Chairperson, Ms Anuradha Desai, said here in a press release.
