Ramco keen to grow logistics solutions biz

New Delhi, Sept. 30 Ramco Systems, which would implement its logistics software application for Adani Logistics, hopes to see a 60 per cent growth in earnings from logistics business in India.

Apart from targeting freight forwarders, warehouse management companies and third party logistics companies, Ramco Systems sees potential in container train operators.

“We are in talks with all players in the container train operations sector for providing IT solutions for their inland container depots,” said Mr Balaji Swaminathan, Global Practice Head-Logistics Solutions.

Ramco Systems provides solutions for planning and scheduling for stuffing, destuffing, line hauls, billing, and vendor managed inventory, and warehouse management.
