Alliances & Joint Ventures States - Kerala Technopark in pact with China bureau Our Bureau Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 1 Technopark Thiruvananthapuram has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with China’s Shenyang Information Industry Bureau. The Shenyang Information Industry Bureau is responsible for the growth and development of the information industry in Shenyang, the capital of China’s Liaoning Province, says a Technopark press release. Exchange programmeThe agreement encourages Shenyang-based IT companies to explore the possibility of starting operations in the Technopark or in the Infopark Kochi. The agreement also supports frequent exchanges of IT delegations between Kerala and Shenyang, the release adds. In November, Technopark is scheduled to host a six-member team from the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government. As part of the agreement, Technopark will promote cooperation between IT/ ITES companies based in Kerala and IT companies in Shenyang, the release states. Areas of cooperationAreas of possible cooperation between the IT companies in Kerala and those in Shenyang include software export and outsourcing services for the Japan, South Korea, the US and Europe markets and BPO operations for Japan, South Korea and China. Other areas of possible cooperation include software outsourcing training including training for BPOs and animation outsourcing, the release adds.
