Management rejig at PepsiCo Asia

New Delhi, Oct. 2

PepsiCo Asia has announced changes in its senior management with Mr Manu Anand, the company’s head of foods’ business in India, taking over as the chief of beverages and foods business in South-East Asia. PepsiCo said that Mr Gautam Mukkavilli, who was the company’s Managing Director in Thailand, will join as Managing Director of India Foods, in place of Mr Anand. Mr Mukkavilli has worked for 16 years with PepsiCo International. Mr Anand, who has been at the helm of Fritolay India as Managing Director for the last nine years, will now be responsible for heading Pepsico’s beverages and foods business spanning Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. “I am delighted to announce the new roles of these seasoned executives”, said Mr Ron McEachern, President of PepsiCo Asia, according to a company release.
