Madurai, Oct. 3

Madurai may soon have a dental college. A direction has been issued to the District Administration to identify a site for establishing the dental college in the city. Announcing the direction by the Government at a meeting with the media following a review of ongoing government health projects etc. in Madurai, the Health Minister, Mr K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran, said a few sites have been identified and a decision would be taken soon. As people were showing an inclination towa rds the siddha system of medicine, more siddha practitioners would be appointed in government hospitals soon, he added.
