Wipro launches quad core desktops

Bangalore, Oct 3

Wipro Infotech has launched desktops based on Intel’s quad core processors, for power users. Quad core implies four computing engines that are placed on a single chip. This delivers unprecedented performance especailly while multi-tasking and running multi-threaded applications. “The launch of our quad core processor-based desktops signals the arrival of a new class of power machines,” said Mr Ashutosh Vaidya, Vice-President, Personal Computing Division, Wipro Infotech, in a release issued by the company. uad core renders 79 per cent better graphics, 54 per cent better video creation and offers 53 per cent better gaming experience, as compared to Core2Duo.
