Elected to transport body

Hyderabad, Oct. 9

Mr V Dinesh Reddy, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of AP State Road Transport Corporation, has been elected Vice-President of the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU). The union has 61 public sector road transport undertakings as members. The Union Secretary (Road Transport) is the ex-officio President of the union. In a poll held in Delhi on Tuesday, Mr Reddy was voted 65 per cent of the votes, an RTC press release said. - Our Bureau
