Sun Pharma gets US nod for Trileptal

Chennai, Oct 10 Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd has announced that the USFDA has granted final approval for the company’s abbreviated new drug application to market its generic version of Novartis Trileptal oxcarbazepine tablets, used in the treatment of epilepsy. These generic oxcarbazepine tablets are AB-rated equivalent of Novartis Trileptal tablets.. Trileptal has annual sales of $640 million in the US.
