L&T bags $60-m Saudi order
Mumbai, Oct. 10
Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) has bagged an order
worth $60 million from Saudi Arabia-based
Methanol Chemical Company (Chemanol). The E&P
(engineering & procurement) order involves setting up
high technology Methyl Amines and Dimethyl
Formamide plants. Chemanol operates grass roots,
second-generation petrochemical complex located in the
Al Jubail Industry City, Saudi Arabia, manufacturing
formaldehyde and its derivative products. Davy Process
Technology, UK , will provide the process technology for
the 50,000 MTPA Methyl Amines and 60,000 MTPA
Dimethyl Formamide plants incorporating advance
design elements and elaborate environment control
