Non-woven fabrics meet in Mumbai

Coimbatore, Oct. 13

The first Asia international conference on non-woven fabrics, ‘Link with India’, will be held in Mumbai during October 16-18. The conference is being held with the support of the US-based INDA. Intended to take the growth potential of India in the field of non-woven or technical textiles further beyond the average global growth rate of 6 per cent, the conference is set to discuss on networking of global non-woven textile giants with the Indian textile and manuf acturing industry on the commercial plank. Dr Seshadri Ramkumar, INDA’s India Committee Chairman, in a communication said Mr Rory Holmes, President of INDA, US, will participate in the Mumbai meet to be inaugurated by the Union Textile Minister, Mr Shankersinh Vaghela. —
