Announcements Marketing - Retailing Himatsingka opens store in Singapore Chennai, Oct. 13 Himatsingka Seide Ltd has announced the opening of the second international `Atmosphere' store in Singapore on October 12. The first overseas store of `Atmosphere' opened in Dubai in May. Singapore is the hub for interior design firms that design hotels, offices and residential projects all over South-East Asia, North Asia, India and West Asia. The Singapore store is managed by a team that has already established contact with many of these leading interior design firms. Mr Bharat Ram, Vice-President (Retail), said: "The Singapore store will not only help us in making inroads into the local market but also enable augmenting of business for our operations in India and West Asia. Designers in Singapore prefer to specify fabrics from sources that are easily accessible.
