Training school for IT pros

Hyderabad, Oct. 13 International School of Information Technologies (ISIT), promoted by US-based Indian software firm A-Cube Soft, has launched industry-oriented training programme for technical and management graduates. “ISIT is a finishing school that bridges the gap between a graduate’s skills and his employability. From January 2008 we will offer a six-month training module for technical and management graduates to prepare them to take up positions in IT industry,” Mr Dama Chowdary, Chairman and Managing Director of ISIT and President, A-Cube Soft told newspersons here on Saturday. ISIT was in talks with Nasscom to align the training programme with industry needs and Nasscom would also validate the certificate to be given ISIT after training, he said.Selections to the first batch would be through a common entrance test to be held in November. There would be hundred seats and the fee would be Rs 1 lakh per candidate.
