Seminar on aerospace structures

Coimbatore, Oct. 13

Park College of Engineering and Technology (PCET) at Kaniyur, near Coimbatore, is organising a National Seminar on Aerospace Structures, sponsored by the Aeronautics Research and Development Board (AR&DB) of the Government of India, on October 15 and 16 at the college. The main theme of the seminar will be `Experimental Techniques in Structural Engineering'.

Nearly 100 scientists and engineers from organisations such as ISRO, NAL, VSSC, DRDO and HAL are expected to participate. An exhibition of aerospace equipments is also being organised. The Minister for Civil Aviation, Mr Praful Patel, will inaugurate the seminar and Dr K. Ramalingam, Director, Airport Authority of India, will deliver the special address, according to a release from the college. - Our Bureau
