CFCL accepts Temptation Foods bid

Chennai, Oct. 17

Temptation Foods Ltd has informed the BSE that the company, on October 17, submitted a binding bid to Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd (CFCL) for acquisition of that company’s food processing unit. The bid has been accepted by CFCL. However, the transaction is subject to execution of definitive agreements by the parties. Shares of the company closed at Rs 47.60, down 6.11 per cent, on the BSE on Wednesday.
