The President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr John Swainson, said that the company now employs about 30 per cent of the total R&D workforce in India. It wants to expand further in the country, as it embarks on development of new products.

“The company invested $30 million (about Rs 120 crore) in the India Technology Centre, and employs over 1,650 people. We continue to expand the R&D teams here and partner with large systems integrators such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Satyam, to help deploy infrastructure management solutions,” Mr Swainson said. Addressing a press conference at its new campus located near Hyderabad, he said that the development teams in India would take lead role in advancing CA’s Enterprise IT Management vision of unifying and simplifying IT management.
