Contest on Indo-Japan relations
Chennai, Oct. 18
The Indo-Japan Chamber of Commerce & Industry
plans to organise an intercollegiate oratorical contest
in Chennai to highlight Japan-India relations, according
to a press release. The contest, being organised as a part
of the Japan-India Friendship Year 2007, is open to
students of arts, science, management and professional
colleges. Each college can send two students who will
have to apply through the college principals on or before
November 2. The contest topics will cover various areas
of Indo-Japan relations including education, culture,
