The Hindu Business Line : G. Srinivasan is United India head

Mr G. Srinivasan, has assumed charge of United India Insurance Company Ltd, Chennai, as its Chairman and Managing Director, according to an official press release. Mr Srinivasan, who succeeds Mr M.K. Garg, has an experience of over 25 years in the insurance industry. Earlier, he was the Managing Director of The New India Insurance Co (TNT) Ltd, Trinidad, and General Manager for New India Insurance Co Ltd. He is a fellow of the Insurance Institute of India and an ICWA graduate, the release said. - Our Bureau
