Financial Performance Corporate Results - Software GTL net jumps 85.5% Our Bureau Mumbai, Oct. 22 City-based GTL Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 152.34 for the quarter ended September 30, aided by a one-time extra-ordinary income from the sale of its enterprise network and managed services business. Without taking into account revenues from the sale, the company has reported a 85.5 per cent rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 30 to Rs 33.84 crore as against Rs 18.24 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The hive-off to Orange Business Services in July this year fetched GTL an extra-ordinary income Rs 118.5 crore. Consolidated net revenues for the period (excluding the extra-ordinary income) were up by 86.4 per cent to Rs 439.18 crore (Rs 235.56 crore). The company incurred loss on other income to the extent of Rs 4.82 crore as against a loss of Rs 0.35 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Reacting to the development, the GTL scrip was up by 3.67 per cent to close at Rs 241.55 on the BSE today. More Stories on : Financial Performance | Software
