ISquareIT, Nokia Siemens tie up

Pune, Oct. 22

International Institute of Information Technology (ISquareIT) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Helsinki, Finland-based Nokia Siemens Networks for collaboration in the field of IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) application software development. ISquareIT is only the institute in India which is having such collaboration with Nokia Siemens Networks. IMS is to be used in the Third Generation (3G) and Fourth Generation (4G) networks and fixed-mobile convergence. The technology would enable multimedia applications such as video-on-demand, lecture-on-demand, multi-party gaming, interactive TV applications and others. —
