Our Bureau

Mumbai, Oct. 24 Patni Computer Systems has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Pilani-based Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) for a two-year masters level degree in embedded systems for Patni’s employees.

Under the ‘BITS Off-Campus Distance Learning & Collaborative Programmes’ scheme, employees of the Product Engineering Services division of Patni will be provided advanced training in real-time systems, digital signal processing, embedded systems design, data storage technologies and wireless communication.

They would be deemed as students of BITS and will be trained by a combined faculty from Patni and BITS on a virtual platform.

Patni also offers its employees an off-campus masters programme in software engineering from BITS Pilani, with over 170 employees currently enrolled.
